"Oh, yes. I have the best style in fashion. I believe that if I were to go anywhere that I should go in style," Magnus said, with a flourish he bowed.
"Well, you are dazzling," he said with a smile.
And Magnus realized that maybe he should mention Alec just in case this young man tried to make any moves on him. Just to save him from embarrassment.
"Why, thank you. But I must warn you if you are trying to make advances on me that my boyfriend is not very kind to people who have interest in me. He's so possessive," Magnus said that last part with a dreamy sigh.
Because really, who wouldn't love for someone to claim you as theirs? And make it clear to everyone you are not available? Personally Magnus loved it.
When he said that the young man sputtered, "I wasn't-I didn't-I mean-I didn't mean it that way."
Magnus smiled, "My apologies then."
His face was flushed, "I'm sorry if it seemed like that. But I promise it wasn't. I have a boyfriend myself. In fact, that is who I was looking for when I accidentally ran into you."
Magnus nodded, "I see."

Magnus smiled to himself and then walked off to find Alec. It took him 10 minutes to find him, Magnus couldn't find Jace so he decided to find Alec first so they could continue their search together.
"Alexander!" Magnus called when he saw him through the crowd. Alec was near the refreshments, which made Magnus wonder if he even looked for Jace at all.
When he got closer he saw that he was accompanied by two young men. One being the fellow he just met.
When the blonde saw him, his eyes widened, "He's your boyfriend?"
Alec frowned, "Yes. Why?"
At that the blonde blushed slightly.
Magnus answered for him, "I thought he was interested in me so I warned him away saying you'd kill him. But turns out he has no interest in me he was just looking for his boyfriend." Magnus then noticed the boy beside him. Pale, dark haired, dark eyes, and kind of seemed to radiate death. The complete opposite of the blonde.
Magnus smiled he thought the whole opposite attracts was bull since he could never get along with anyone who was the complete opposite of him, at least not in a romantic relationship.
"Ah, we are in need of introductions. Hello everyone, I am Magnus Bane. And this is my amazing and handsome boyfriend, Alexander Lightwood."

Alec scoffed and said, "What talents?"
Just as Nico said, "Amazing how?"
They both stared at each other.
Alec broke the silence, "I have to admit I do like the fact that you don't have an overwhelming sunny personality."
Both Will and Magnus looked hurt.
Nico grudgingly said, "I have to admit I like the fact that you have the same tactic as me to scare people away."
At that Alec smiled, "Oh, yes. That's an important one I hate being forced to socialize and meet new people."
"Same even though Will forces me too."
"Magnus does the same thing."
Magnus decided not to mention the fact that they were socializing and they met new people.
Magnus and Will were conversating about music when Alec cleared his throat, "Perhaps we can get to know each other more in a bit? Magnus, we still need to find Jace."
"Oh, yeah. Okay. We have to find a friend of ours who have something special planned but afterwards we could all hang out, if you guys want to."
Will smiled, "That would be great."
Nico sighed, "More socializing."
Alec sighed in agreement.
"Great!" Magnus said, "We'll meet up here in about an hour. Sound good?"
Will nodded, "Sounds good."
"It was lovely meeting you all," Magnus said as he and Alec started to walk away.
"Same to you," Will called back.
A friendship was blooming between the four, one that would bring two very different yet very similar worlds together. Ah, when world's collide.
