Boulter beaten
Katie Boulter is the latest British player eliminated from the French Open.
The 26th seed was beaten 6-4, 5-7, 4-6 by Spain's Paula Badosa in the first round in Paris.
Badosa will now face Yulia Puntintseva in the second round at Roland Garros.

Djokovic through
Novak Djokovic has made a successful start to his defence of the French Open.
The top seed beat Frenchman 6-4, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 to seal a straight sets first round win on Court Philippe-Chatrier.
Djokovic will face Roberto Carballes Baena in the second round.

Evans slams umpires
Dan Evans has admitted he is "fed up with umpires" after his French Open loss to Holger Rune.
Speaking after the match, the Brit fumed: "I’m fed up with the umpires full stop.
£One second he has a conversation with him the game before because he has hit his racquet. I don’t care if he wants to have a conversation on his serve.
"I’m playing pretty well, I feel like I am on a roll, I was disrupted, it’s not Rune’s fault."

Dan Evans has been knocked out of the French Open following a straight sets defeat to Holger Rune.
The 13th seed advanced to the second round with a 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 victory on Court Suzanne Lenglen.
Rune will face Italy's Flavio Cobolli in the second round.

Alex de Minaur has booked his place in the second round of the French Open.
The Australian eased to a straight sets win over Alex Michelsen in Paris, advancing 6-1, 6-0, 6-2.
De Minaur, who is seeded 11th at Roland Garros, will face the winner of Jaume Munar vs Roberto Bautista Agut in round two.

Weather delays
There has still been no play on any of the outdoor courts at Roland Garros toady.
Rain continues to pour in Paris - delaying all outdoor matches until 3pm.
The rain is expected to stop around that time with no further downpour anticipated for the rest of the afternoon.
However delays could cause chaos deeper into the tournament with a hectic schedule already starting to build up.

Cornet honoured on court
Alize Cornet was given a proper farewell on court after her loss to Qinwen Zheng.
The French star announced that she would be retiring after the tournament having made 20 consecutive Roland Garros appearances and 69 consecutive Grand Slam appearances.

Zheng ends Cornet singles career
Qinwen Zheng booked her spot in the second round after a 6-2 6-1 win over Alize Cornet.
The Chinese 21-year-old and world No.7's win brings an end to her opponent Cornet's singles career.
Cornet is retiring from solo tennis following the French Open and had her hopes of a home win dashed by Zheng's dominance.
Speaking after the match, Zheng paid tribute to her opponent.
She said: "Congrats for all the success in your career.
"Congrats for having so many great matches here at the French open.
"All of us won’t forget you. Thanks for today, showing a great match. Hope you enjoy your life after retirement. Be happy."

Rybakina happy to be back
Elena Rybakina was chuffed to be back at the French Open having missed out on last year's tournament.
Speaking after her straight sets win over Greet Minnen, she said: "Last year I missed this tournament and it was really hard but I am really happy to be back and compete here,".

Elena Rybakina has waltzed into the second round with a straight sets win on Greet Minnen this morning.
The Kazakhstani star, currently seeded at no.4, beat Minnen 6-2 6-3 to book her spot in the second round.

Nadal eyes Olympics
Rafa Nadal has made it clear that he wants to be back in France for the Olympics amid doubts over the future of his career.
Speaking after his first round exit to Alexander Zverev yesterday, he said: "There's a huge chance that I won't be back at Roland Garros but I can say 100% that I enjoyed playing here.
"Maybe in two months, I'll say it's enough but it's something I don't feel yet. I still have some goals in front.
"I hope to be back here for the Olympics - that motivates me. I hope to be well prepared."
